STARTING THE PROJECT ON DEVELOPING THE ENTERPRISE RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AT TRANSIMEX-SAIGON CORPORATION, USING ORACLE E-BUSINESS SUITE SOLUTION

On the morning of 17 April, 2009 at Ho Chi Minh city, Kim Tu Thap Viet Nam New Technology Joint StOck company organized successfully the ceremony for starting up the Project on Developing the Enterprise Resources Management system (ERP) at the Transforwarding- Warehousing Joint Stock Corporation of Ho Chi Minh city (TRANSIMEX - SAIGON, securities code: TMS).
The ERP system applied at TRANSIMEX - SAIGON includes 5 main subsystems: Finance- Accounting Management, Purchase Management, Inventories Management, Sales Management, and Intelligent Finance Management using Oracle E-Business Suite solution. The system has been at the same time developed at ICD Transimex, the branches of the Company at Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, its representative offices at Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and its subsidiaries such as: Transforwarding Warehousing One member Limited Company; Transimex Saigon – Huu Nghi Joint Stock Company at Bac Giang.
In order to serve for the demand of development in future, TRANSIMEX – SAIGON strives to become the first leading powerful economic group of Vietnam, and to also improve its competitiveness in the media of international integration, the leaders board of the Company have decided to invest for upgrading the up-to-date information system, especially attaching its great importance to the work for enhancing the management of finance-accounting information, management of warehouses, grounds and yards and extracts with intelligent administration report.
